My first visit here was phenomenal! Our server, Michelle, provided exceptional service, and the food was outstanding. This is hands-down the best sushi and Japanese restaurant in the Panhandle—possibly the best I’ve ever experienced. For those considering the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) menu, don’t worry about quality. Whether you choose the regular menu or AYCE, the food maintains the same top-notch standard.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR SUSHI BUFFS. We are picky about our fresh sushi and I Can’t stress how amazing this place is. Most all you can eat sushi restaurants load the rice, making it so they fill you up quicker. This restaurant has super fresh seafood and puts so much care into their food and menu. The value and delicious of this place is unbelievable. Every single time we have family come visit, it’s a staple they ask to hit for food. We eat here every week as well. Great people and hard working staff.

My fiancé and I visit Wako every Friday night and the service we receive from Robby is the reason we return so consistently. He has completely elevated our dining experience. Before we met him we were close to discontinuing our visits after a disappointing encounter with another server yet Robby changed everything. His professionalism attentiveness and genuine warmth create an exceptional atmosphere and he now feels more like a trusted friend than simply a server. I’ve lived in Orlando, Fort Myers and Pensacola and I can confidently say this is the best service I have experienced anywhere. The restaurant itself is always clean and welcoming and the sushi is consistently fresh beautifully prepared and reliably outstanding. Robby enhances an already excellent establishment and we truly look forward to every visit because he makes each evening smooth enjoyable and memorable.

Wako has become our go-to restaurant this past year! The value for the selection on the all you can eat is amazing, the food is always great, there’s always something good on the tv and good music over the speakers. Tonight (& the last few times) we were served by the amazing Jesse, but we’ve always enjoyed the service here. The Fall in Love roll is what got me hooked, but we love coming back for old favorites & trying new things! Can’t wait for next time.
